Anyone an create a Deviant art account and upload photos. The photo appears his and possibly in a public place so there is not much you can do
yeah, been through this before, best to just contact him to see if he's willing too.....if no then nothing you can do. Still dope though--
nothing wrong with that....its his camera...and just because he is selling it, doesn't mean that someone is buying it....you should be happy, more publicity, or even if someone buys it, it would be seen..why did you paint that, for it to be SEEEEEEEENand this is positivePlease POST THIS MESSAGEI'm MSG ANON037

Its dope that someone likes it enuff to try and sell a photo of it... and it gave me the idea that we should be doing that, selling really dope flicks of our work... whos the photographer in the crew?
What?You already got my numberHollarado!--ARCADE--
word on the street arcade invented the idea of the camera..just sayin..
I got madd homies with fancy shmancy cameras
The artist should get a % of the profit. It's understandable that it's the photographers camera, time, efforts and depending on the location-safety...BUT ON A SECOND NOTE IF IT WASN'T FOR THE "ARTIST" THAT INITIATED EVERY REASON TO DO THE ABOVE STATED THERE WOULD BE NOTHING TO PROFIT FROM.It if isn't for creative visionaries like writers that get no $$$ from productions at times, we would have nothing to shoot relative to "graff". If there is photography of architecture sold, the architect already made his GREAT commission from the firm he works with. If there is photography of product sold, the product manufacturer already made their GREAT commission from sales. If there is photography of "nature" sold, there really isn't no one to be commissioned. But relative to graff, if photographers shoot trackside burners and penit shots old and new and start to sell, it is justice that a % of that should go to the artist...sort of like having a creative PR or agent. The writer works under no firm, company or studio when it comes to graff...it's street. Now there is a profit to be made, especially in the relms of commercial, retail and environmental graphics. You can have photographers shoot, and there are many out there...just check FlickR.But what you want is not only a shooter but a promoter...someone that is going to represent you-AS THE ARTIST-and push your creative product.Just something for your thoughts MSG since you mention having a crew photographer.Selling $15 product through the internet, here and there. It's about taking graff to another level...ABSTRK knows the deal...it's about the BIGGER picture-literally.MSG can get shit like this popping...you already are in videos and networks...Do your thing...keep it moving...and remember the name....DEKOimages nighaaaa...LOL...peace fellas...
I'll tell you right now, nobody buys pictures of graffiti off the internet. It may be because you can get them all for free anyway, or because nobody wants to support. But the bottom line is what kojak said above, you paint something in a public space, and it ends up in a picture that someone is selling, theres nothing you can do about it legally. It brings up an interesting aside of how little people understand about the internet, copyright, and fair use. People post up tons of their pictures all over flickr and other sites, and then get pissy when other people use them in any way. If you don't want people jacking your shit. Keep it off the internet and out of the public eye. Period. Otherwise, be happy that anyone gives a shit about you and your camera hobby.-miamigraf

Homie called me Cojak..It's been a while, I still like that tag.
I'd be down for this shit in a heartbeat..
well isnt this just the topic of the day...if a photographer is hired to do something and paid by the artists for all the pics he takes, thats one thing.but if im doing something i love and doing my thing, spending my money on gas, camera equipment , w.e. to take pics and further popularize whoever im shooting(idk if thats a word lol)most of the photographers get alot of good stuff that most writers cant get back to get a pic of before its beuffed as well. i think the writers shouldnt have a problem. i mean hey if you guys ask for the pic sure, you can have it and you can even sell it, but id want my sig below next to yours.. so that way we'd all be working together. thats that way it should be honestly, no greadyness involved. it would only help the cause for what we're all trying to get.... attention!but like miamigraff said, not much money is to be made off of it, magazines or w.e. else its all small stuff. people want your actuall work, something more than a photo... so take lets take photos and do graff and promote each other. no homo!
"its graffiti, whatever happens happens"
