This Friday....
Smoke Drugs and Watch This
The work speaks for itself. I love this video and want to share it with anyone who may not have seen it yet and those who want to watch it again and again. It's Basel time folks, get your art on!!! (Wine and cheese optional.)
And another one for good measure.
See you in the streets.
Heavy Pause.
Even player's fuck up. I heard this on a very popular site and decided
it should be posted here for those of you who may not visit that other site.
I'm not endorsing either the artist or the site it was originally posted on.
This is just some funny shit. Enjoy...pause.

Eat Your Art Out
This show is a collection of diverse street, visionary, surreal, and tattoo art created by emerging artists whose vision encompasses erasing the barrier that separates the affluent art scene from the underground art world.Eat Your Art Out is a movement toward bringing in emerging artists to push the envelope outside mainstream art and make it socially warranted in today’s art scene. Artists from a variety of artistic genres have collaborated together for one week to exhibit a dynamic fusion of diverse mediums presented on canvas, multimedia, sculptures, installations and photography.
Featuring works by: Chet Zar, Edgar Velasquez, Crome, Abstrk, Nineteen, AS1, Quake, Evils, Dekal, Gere, Juan Velasquez, Michael D. Walsh, Billi Kid, Joshua Noblock, Brandon Opalka, Ryan Mackeen, Seth Mathurin, Jose Mertz, Enve, Michael Lee Suarez, Evo, and John Vale.
The exhibition includes a collaboration with various other art groups including Primary Flights, Super Rad Toys and Modani Furniture.
“The common goal here is to showcase subversive artworks and make a statement in today’s conventional art scene,” says Evils of the Miami Style Graffiti (MSG) Cartel.

Boynton Beach Mural Project....
A year ago we set out to get this wall, the city of Boynton Beach wanted a mural in the Sarah Sims Public Park for there Art in Public Places program. After being on the backburner for a year, the city finally gave the go ahead with this unique project. It brought in the communities at risk youths to be a part of the process. In the end, the youths did not paint on the wall because the skill level was not quite up to par YET, but they often gave their two-cents on what might look dope. I ended up coming up with a sketch including 4 different genres of African American inspired music, it is something to relate to and be inspired by for the surrounding community. I came up with the sketch by integrating parts from my paintings, and found imagery of musical artists together.
A big thanks to Venom-LMA, for originally bringing me in on this project from the get go. and of course, the city of Boynton Beach for the opportunity.

Guest artists: Jermaine Johnson, Chan Shepard
Jermaine is a local artist who grew up on the same block as the wall, he passed by it one day while we were working and wanted to know if he could participate, I told him yes if he could come back with some examples of work. The dude came back with a full airbrushed sketch of a DJ, to replace the one i was gong to paint. So i gave him the go ahead. He ended up painting the DJ in the middle of the wall, using Cans and brush. This was one of the dopest parts of the project, cause it brought in someone from the community.

36hrs in NYC!!
Quick status update on the trip. Ridiculous schedule so far the drive alone was about 20 hours with only a hand full of stops. Then the first day consisted of a live airbrushing at Lord & Taylor. Which led into tattoo-a-rama, a 10PM to 9AM tattoo session. And to add to a already failing brain a trip into the city. Soho is stupid dope all the shops and the freshest lunch at Rice. We start the pilgrimage back Monday so till then heres some flics.

The Lincoln Tunnel I thought we were going to get pulled over for this photo.

The set up for the Lord & Taylor event.
Most of the crew aka my "entourage".
6 AM shot of the most tired man in the room.
"Best Buy" of the trip.

2 LIVE CREW @ Bobby Maduro

I'm on some real throw back Miami shit latley...

Peep this video of 2 Live Crew at Allapattah's Miami Stadium aka Bobby Maduro Stadium from the late 80's.
This is some classic Miami Bass shit.
Enjoy-
Little known fact...
The Miami Stadium was nicknamed "The Birds Nest"...

The stadium was the spring training home of the Baltimore Orioles from 1959 until 1990.

For an in depth look back at the stadium's history check out this 1996 story "Rough Diamond" by New Times reporter Robert Andrew Powell.

Remembering The Orange Bowl...

Went to the Canes game with a few of the homies this weekend. The Hurricanes just killed Virginia 52-17... but Land Shark Stadium, excuse me, Joe Robbie Stadium, is nothing like the Orange Bowl.

Check out this really dope documentary film about the history of The Orange Bowl.
All real Miami natives will love it.
Enjoy-
