This was done for all them writers that rocked the shit outta that place with much love...and literally were willing to get the shit beaten out of them, getting jacked and possibly even murked by them crazy ass trailer park chicos...the real deal.
I recall my first visit to this joint back in early '95, just being in awe in the presence of such a structure. Later on that day meeting Mike129 and Kool blazing the trackside wall about 1 block west on the those tracks. Ever since then it was a love affair with this penit...taking a damn 1 hr long trip on the 83 and 32 buses just to get there to have to walk about another 15 minutes in Miami weather!
Appreciate you posting this homie Nixon cause the traffic here is off hand and everytime I visit this area man...goosebumps rise and memories flourish, and I doubt I'm the only one that feels like this...you know.
(And for the ones lost that rocked it here from what I recall seeing myself, like GB, Oil, Sege....RIP...hope they got a penit like this one where you at.)
As for them nighas that rocked this place and are still rockin' to date...keep rocking fellas.
I Used to put my keys in my shoes so when the Nicas would check my pockets, they diden't know I had a car. Other then that I diden't have any problems other than crack heads askin for shit.
Ran into Mike 129 and Kool a couple times out there.
haha i remember me xeno eriee got jacket there one time they just took are paint put never found xeno's 60 bucks that shit got us home that day crazy one time for NINE HA, GWIZ ,COLORS ATOMICK QUAKE,BETA ZEMEX,
Those days were crazy. I had guns in my face a couple of times along with some friends of mine. Bullets flew passed, they did their stick up ritual, and we left with less than we came with.
I remember seeing Mike 129 working on his piece, and asking me if his work looked straight or not, he didn't see so good. I remember crossin out a writer because of personal beef. I really miss seeing that large getup by GBEE and AKAY . . .that was classic. Most of all I miss painting their amongst other places.
The city may or may not know how big a part we as writers played in the environment as far as the history of Miami goes. The Hialeah penit left all of us with some memories good and bad, I miss those days.
I USED TO PAINT THE TRAINS IN THE BACK ON THE LONG WEEKENDS... GOT SHOT IN THE ANKLE BY THE C.A.P GANGS...OTHER THAN THAT I MISS THAT PLACE HEY REMEMBER THE FREEK WEED LEAF IN THE FRONT AND THE FABOO IHS
I remember the fucking crazy ass dogs that were in that fenced in spot along the tracks when your walking in... I remember thinking man if these fucking dogs get loose they are going to eat me alive!
